My Favorite All Inclusive Resorts for Holiday Travel in 2021

Last week I named my top five destinations to visit in the Caribbean and Mexico for 2021 holiday travel. Today, I'm giving you my favorite all inclusive resorts to visit in those destinations I chose last week in this blog post.

As a reminder, I chose Turks and Caicos, Riviera Maya in Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic as my favorite travel destinations for 2021, especially for the holiday travel season. It's hard to pick just one of these amazing destinations, let alone a resort, but here are my favorites in each destination, along with some runner up options.

Beaches Turks & Caicos in Provinciales, Turks & Caicos

It's hard to think of a trip to Turks and Caicos and NOT think of Beaches. This resort is truly the top Turks and Caicos resort, especially for families or multi-generational trips. To some people, it may be the best resort in all of the Caribbean.

This all inclusive resort offers 23 specialty restaurants with everything from burgers to Italian, Asian, and fine French dining, 758 rooms and suites over 95 acres of property, an unparalleled kids camp featuring Sesame Street characters, water sports included (yes, scuba diving too!), an onsite water park with slides of all heights for all ages, an Xbox lounge for serious gamers, and soooo much more. That's just a snippet of everything there is to do at Beaches Turks and Caicos.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya in Playa Paraiso, Mexico

Our family is actually booked to stay at the Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya, one of five resorts in the Paraiso Complex, in October 2021. From top down you have the Grand, Maya, Lindo, Beach, and Del Mar resorts. Each resort has their own facilities, but each also has the ability to use each lower tier resort facilities as well.

This complex features its own golf course, renovated gym, spa, shopping mall, a newly added set of water slides, lazy river, wave pool, kids camp, children's water park, and two huge, sprawling pools. The beach is a short walk away for daytime fun and the theater will entertain every night with a new show.

Moon Palace Jamaica in Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Just a short walk to downtown Ocho Rios and a quick 6 minute drive to Dunn's River Falls lies Moon Palace Jamaica, with 705 beautifully appointed rooms to choose from. Enjoy free airport transportation with your stay, making getting to and from the resort simple and easy.

The resort features activities like a Flow Rider Double Wave Simulator, a full service spa, 5 delicious restaurants, 4 swimming pools and a children's pool, and an array of non motorized water sports including kayaks, paddle boards, and hobie catamarans.

What I love most about Moon Palace Jamaica is it's proximity to downtown Ocho Rios, giving you a chance to get off property and experience a Jamaican town and do a little shopping or offsite dining.

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Remember watching Nickelodeon and wanting to feel what it felt like to be slimed? At Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana you and your kids can do just that - and more.
